Offshore Fishing
I got bit (haha) by the offshore fishing bug several years ago. It all began when I started taking an annual vacation to the Florida Keys in 1988. The first year was a 3 day weekend. The next year was a 4 day weekend. Eventually it became a week, and then 2 weeks. Around 1993 I began renting boats from "Nash Boat Rentals" (now Quality Boat Rental 305 743-2895, Classic Makos with Yamaha power) during my Keys trip. The enjoyment I got from using the rental boats led to purchasing my own boat in 1996. Pictures from Fishing Expeditions Captain PITA's boats (or why the boat manufacturers love Captain PITA) For those of you who have been invited to participate in a Fishing Expedition, I have attached a document which contains a lot of useful information about what you need to bring, directions to the marina, basic safety instructions for the boat, and a cost analysis of a typical fishing trip. The cost analysis can be quite enlightening for someone who does not realize how much it costs to run an offshore fishing boat.
